About
Hotel junkie and personal butler to three kids and a dog. Tribeca-based, part-time living in Costa Rica, but often stuck in BQE traffic on the way to JFK. Co-founder of Fora.
Home airports
EWR for early morning, JFK for everything else, but Teterboro goals.
My travel style
I’m driven by connections and local flavor, and am equally excited in a Parisian palace hotel as a mountain eco-lodge in Central America. For me, the people and experiences make the place, and I love match-making travelers to their perfect destination.
Recently returned from:
- Mastering driving on the wrong side of the road in Jamaica.
- Hotel hopping in Los Angeles.
- Surfing, hiking, dog adopting, and monkey chasing in Costa Rica.
- Gorilla trekking in Rwanda.
Dreaming of...
- Kenya and Namibia. Maybe all of Africa.
- Ziplining into Shinta Mani Wild in Cambodia.
- Everest Base Camp (and not a step higher).
- Bolivian salt flats.
What's one thing you can't travel without?
A Jennifer Fisher necklace with my children’s names on it.
Two truths, one lie:
- I’ve been detained by immigration in Japan, the Bahamas, and Spain.
- I once paid $25,000 for pizzas in Central America.
- My son studied snake charming in Marrakech.
