Things to do

Stowe has no shortage of things to do, and offers travelers the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation. You can balance your time between skiing, ice skating, hot tubbing and spa visits.

For ice skating, Spruce Peak Village is the place to go, and I recommend bringing your own skates (but rentals are also available). For a perfect winter experience, Trapp Family Lodge offers sleigh rides. And for the adventurous, you can also go snowmobiling (no experience required!).

The Stowe Recreation Path is a great outdoor location for all seasons, but for those visiting in the winter, this is a fun place to go to build a snowman (or have a snowball fight!).

Visit Main Street to get your holiday shopping done with New England gifts at charming and locally owned shops.

Guests can also explore the Village Center at Spruce Peak complete with stores to shop for skiwear, entertainment (including live musicians) and a gondola ride. Be sure to also explore the Stowe region, which has many wonderful activities and eateries to try as well!

The Pantry & Beanery: The perfect place to start off your morning.

Lunch & Dinner

The Whistlepig Pavilion: Try out some authentic Vermont dining, especially rye whiskey cocktails, a perfect option for apres.

Piecasso: After a long day on the slopes, Piecasso is a great option for a filling and satisfying meal. Check their events calendar in advance, as many nights have live entertainment.

Drinks

The Alchemist Brewery: Speaking of family-owned businesses, this local gem offers great craft beer made with sustainable practices.
