About
I'm a lifetime travel professional because I am passionate about what I do: connecting with different cultures, looking at amazing art and being a human rights ally! I also love to travel with my kids.
Home airports
EWR! So much better than JFK and a 20 minute drive from my house in Manhattan without traffic at 5 am!
My travel style
I’m all about balance – I love luxury and then traveling rustic or off-the-beaten-path to see something you are passionate about. I’m particularly driven by planning cause-based travel, and bring decades of experience to planning thoughtfully executed experiences to life for families and groups of all sizes. My work has been celebrated by Conde Nast Traveler and Travel + Leisure.
Recently returned from:
- Visiting women's rights crusaders in Delhi and Assam.
- Leading a group of first time visitors in Mexico City.
- Working with human rights defenders in Brazil.
- Relaxing in the mountains and water of Belize.
Dreaming of...
- Portugal: I love Europe on the fringes.
- Antarctica: My last continent!
- Namibia, Bolivia salt flats and Shinta Mani with Henley (our lists overlap).
- Maldives: After this last year, sitting on an island with nothing to do but relax sounds divine.
What's one thing you can't travel without?
My embroidered wool wrap from India. It's a blanket or pillow on flights, a pretty shawl for cool nights at fancy dinners, and an extra blanket for freezing hotel rooms.
Two truths, one lie:
- I once spent eight hours in a Hungarian jail.
- The president of Liberia let me use her bathroom.
- I've been hospitalized in Switzerland from a ski accident.
