My travel style
Pretty much any mode of transport is more interesting than a plane. I know how to treat myself to a luxury retreat, but above all I look to stay in places with character and soul vibes.
Recently returned from:
- Kite flying in Old Delhi.
- Hiking in the Indian Himalayas.
- Solo-retreating in mid-Wales.
Dreaming of...
- Assam, North East India - for the tea (and toy trains).
- Rajasthan, India for all the amazing forts & historic hotels.
- Alladale, Scotland for rewilding my soul.
What's one thing you can't travel without?
A journal and pen.
Two truths, one lie:
- As a child on family holidays, I was sent to order breakfast from the local Boulangerie speaking only in French.
- I once spent the night in an Indian railway station.
- I've helped release Lynx into the Scottish wilderness.
