About
A wanderer who likes to take my time sipping my coffee in the mornings and my wine at night, meanwhile taking in the sights, the people and the moment in time.

My travel style
I like to take my time when visiting a new destination so I can fully immerse myself in the culture. I prefer staying in independent or boutique hotels, sampling the local gastronomy and experiencing the destination like a local. I enjoy investing in experiences, where I can learn new skills and make long-lasting memories. For me, traveling is a way to grow and learn about ourselves and the world. I specialize in women's travel, such as solo travel and mother/daughter experiences, as well as family travel.
Recently returned from:
- Snorkeling in the coral reefs of Puerto Viejo, Limón.
- Swimming in blue water in Bajos del Toro.
- Having lunch at Wynwood Walls, Miami.
- Sailing to the Isle of Ponza, Italy.
Dreaming of...
- Sailing from Croatia to Turkey for my 50th birthday (2022).
- Exploring Japan and Iceland with my teenage daughter.
- Renting a house and spending the summer in northeastern United States.
What's one thing you can't travel without?
My journals – I love writing about how I feel in the places that I visit, and about the things that cannot be captured in photos.
Two truths, one lie:
- I have climbed Mount Chirripó, Costa Rica's tallest mountain.
- I am fluent in Swedish.
- I have been skinny dipping in an Austrian lake.
