My travel style
I love to explore and learn about (and from) our beautiful world. I feel right at home sipping tea at the Savoy, but have no hesitations in packing up a backpack for a camping trip in the American West. I'm a compulsive planner, but I always leave some room for spontaneity.

- Brewery-hopping in Asheville.
- Drinking from coconuts and napping in the sun of Punta Cana.

What's one thing you can't travel without?
Well, two things: chapstick and a water bottle.
Two truths, one lie:
- I was detained by Panamanian border control for eight hours after crossing into the country illegally.
- I filled two passports before I turned 25.
- I have five advanced scuba certifications.
